There are only so many things I can do while Mike is having band practice in our basement. I can't watch TV. I can't talk on the phone. But I can listen to my ipod while I edit on the computer. A couple of weeks ago I was doing just that, going through the photos from Mike's trip to Abu Dhabi and I realized that some of them were panoramas taken with his work point and shoot.

That reminded me that I had never gotten around to editing the ones I took while we were in Egypt! I also wanted to make a collection in LR of all of my panos so that they would be easy to find in the future.

I used to take a lot more of these before I had a SLR and especially before wide angle lenses. I need to do them more though because I love the results. The extra distortion you get can be especially fun. I need to do some experiments on how best to play that up and how best to avoid it.
