I hope to post some more tonight, it was a long morning today already. Mike went to a meeting last night and it appears he got food poisoning, we have been up since 2:30 this morning.

White Spring
Yesterday on the way home from work the sun had finally broken through the rain for a while, and I knew I couldn't pass up the chance to go out and shoot the newest flowers of spring. Here is one shot taken with the 5D Mark II and my 100mm macro lens

Do you use a tripod to take macro pics?
I don't actually use a tripod to take these. I want to start using one but I am saving up to get a really good Gitzo one with a really right stuff ball head. I just try to keep my shutter speed really high and I shoot a lot because quite a few will come out soft.
