After our morning tour of the Emerald Buddha and the Grand Palace, we had a free afternoon. We grabbed some lunch at a place across the street from our hotel with one of the guys on our tour, probably went in the pool and then we decided to go to
The Jim Thompson House. It's no secret that I love house tours so this was an ideal outing for me.
We started by walking to the elevated train:
We got off after a couple of stops and walked a little bit to get to the house.
Pictures were not allowed inside the house, and we were there kind of late so I didn't take a lot of photos of the grounds either.
It was definitely worth the short trip from our hotel.
