Thailand Day 2: Temple of the Emerald Buddha

Our second day of our tour was scheduled to be a free day or there were some optional activities that you could sign up for.  We signed up for the optional trip to see the Emerald Buddha and the Grand Palace.






































That is the Emerald Buddha, who is actually made of jade, and kind of small, and dressed up in his winter clothing. We weren't allowed to take photos in the room, you could take this shot from outside but the longest lens I had was my 100L so I couldn't get any closer than this.
