Thailand Day 5: Chai Wattanaram

Our major planned stop in Ayutthaya was sunset at Chai Wattanaram. This area was hit really badly by the flooding in the fall of 2011 and still wasn't fully recovered. Normally this temple is lit up at night but that still hadn't been repaired when we were there. We also weren't allowed to walk in among the ruins as it was still too wet and unsafe. Regardless it was a beautiful sight.
