While we were waiting for the tour of the house we decided to take the walk along the lake to see the small church and mausoleum on the site. There is a really interesting story behind both that you can read on the website.
I assume this was for kids but I couldn't resist.
Isn't the church gorgeous? The details were insane for such a small church.
It was decorated with the four types of marble found in Ireland, you can see three of them in the image below. The green is the Conmarra marble that is local to this site.
