Another site worth seeing at Kylemore is the walled victorian garden. You can walk to it from the house and visitor center or take a short bus ride. We opted for the bus.
You walk through a small doorway in the wall . . .
and this beautiful garden opens up before you. There used to be many more glass greenhouses but the nuns are slowly restoring them along with the gardens.
