Rebecca and Michele go to the Met

On Saturday Becky and I braved the bus into NY so we could go see a couple of exhibits at the Met.


We made a wonderful day of it, we probably wandered around the museum for 4 or 5 hours.



I gave myself a little challenge of just bringing my 50mm 1.8 with me. I wanted to try it because 1) it is far lighter than the 24-70 2) I am thinking of replacing it with the 50 1.2L. It did okay, I do think it needs an upgrade, but honestly I missed my 24-70 I lot. I am very much a zoom kind of girl. And I sorely missed the wider angles I am able to capture with that lens. Next time I guess.
