Getting a Handle on Things
I hated the handles that were on the built in upstairs when we bought the house, ugly gold things.

Totally hysterical story. DH & were driving home one night & I suddenly started complaining about our brass door knobs in our house & how I wanted to change them all. Well, DH's phone must have accidentally dialed his friend & they heard the whole conversation. They gave him grief for months...yes, all the excitement of newlyweds & door knobs, but I totally understand your need to change them.
