At some point this temple was so buried that a mosque was built on top of it, at what was then ground level and is now 2 stories up.
After this it was back to the boat to use the pool and take a quick shower, then off to the painful sleeper train again back to Cairo.

Can I confess that I would have said a "hotel in vegas" if somebody had asked me what luxor was. I never knew it was a real place! cool photos
