Happy Birthday Mom!!!
Saturday was my last weekend day of work and hopefully my last long day. On my way into work I took a couple of pictures of the beautiful orchids they keep in our main lobby!
Did you see the news today? About Virginia Tech? That is really scary. Mike had classes in that building in grad school and the civil engineering building is right next to it. Thank god that was years ago. There was a shooting at Penn State during my first semester of college. It scares me how "common" this is. How do parents sleep at night knowing that this stuff goes on? I am sure sending your child away to college is frightening enough without this thrown in on top of it.
