Boston's North End

Okay we are finally almost through the Boston pictures. Yeah! Not all of these pictures are actually in the North End, we ended up back in the more downtown section at some point as well, but that just makes it all too complicated.

Harvard

Last Thursday after class I walked over to Harvard. I just want to see it and take pictures of the lovely old building. The only lens I took with me was the 24-70L. I have noticed that lately I really like playing with the sun in my pictures.

A library maybe?

For some reason photobucket isn't showing me my EXIF data for all of them, so you only get the settings it would show me. Hopefully I will be wrapping up Boston pictures tomorrow.

Duck Tour

I am still catching up on processing Boston photos, I still have Harvard and the North End to post, but today you get some pictures from the Duck Tour we took on Wednesday. It was pretty cheesy, but it was fun.

What have I been doing all day?

Here is a picture of a 1L fermentor. Today we grew e.coli in one of these for a few hours and monitored their growth.

Edit: I thought it might be easier if I labeled some of the stuff you see in the above picture. I know it still won't mean much to most of you, but maybe it will help.

MIT Pictures

This is Building 10 at MIT, where we had to go to pick up our class information the first day

These are the "roach coaches" (as Michael and I like to call them) where our professor recommended we eat lunch. Please note that all I have eaten from these things is a canned Coke, that seemed safe enough.

Here is the group from our class that went on the campus tour on Tuesday, minus me of course

First Boston Pictures

I don't know the names of all these places, and I don't have time to figure them out before I have to walk over to class so you just get the pictures. All of these were taken with my 24-70L lens.

Tonight is the duck tour, I hope the raininess clears up before then, I don't need spots all over my lens.
