Thursday night I stopped at Wegmans to pick up some flowers so I would have a subject to test out my new macro lens on. I had a hard time deciding what I get, I ended up with two types of flowers. First up are the Irises. They are such an interesting flower to shoot, there are so many different angles to them.
All shots with my 5D mark ii and my new 100mm f/2.8 L macro IS.
These were all handheld with the IS on.
f/4.0, 1/160, ISO 2000, background was a white lampshade
f/2.8, 1/100, ISO 3200, background is breakfast nook wall painted BM Lehigh Green
f/2.8, 1/100, ISO 3200
Sometimes I love to get in really close, f/2.8, 1/100, ISO 3200
f/2.8, 1/100, ISO 3200
Tomorrow see my first tripod macro shoots.
